Fabric architecture by TricoShade can be used to enhance existing buildings, adding beauty as well as utility. The fabric architecture above was added to provide shade cover to the entrance to the building, creating much more attractiveness and originality than ordinary awnings. The outdoor fabrics (sometimes called architectural fabrics, or more commonly called sunbrella fabrics) used are made of high-density polyethylene shade netting fabric, and will not tear, sag, fade or mold. The architectural engineering of the tensile structures is done by our specialized engineering department using state of the art technology. Fabric architecture can be used for commercial applications or on a smaller scale for residential purposes (for example, fabric carports, deck canopies, pool shade structures, as a maintenance-free alternative to garden pergolas, etc.) |
